1. Called to Order at 6:30 pm
2. Approved Agenda
3. Reviewed Projects

      a) We reviewed the request from New Star Chinese School
which was presented by Ning Wang and Jing Zhang
A Mailman List and DCN Calendar were approved.

      b) We reviewed the request regarding a Slatters Court
Documentary being made with a California Foundation for the
Humanities Grant under the sponsorship of DCTV which was
presented by Karen Vanhercke, Jason Spies
A Shell account and a Mailman List were approved.

4. Continued Discussion of IPC Structure, Function and Operations.
	a) We talked of the benefit of more division of labor on the
committee. The Chair need not necessarily be the one to take the
meeting notes; the Executive Director can help keep records; perhaps
a database of projects can be part of the new DCN web; the IPC web
pages should be in the DCN area of the web.
	b) In order to gather feedback about sponsored projects Ann
Evans offered to draft a brief questionnaire to distribute to an as yet
undetermined set of projects.
	c) Continuing the discussion of the committee's name we
decided to suggest a name change to the Board. The purpose of the
change would be to better represent to the community the true nature
of the committee's work. Of two names considered:
DCN Community Projects Resources Committee and
DCN Resources Allocation Committee
it was decided to suggest the latter.

5. Review of projects on the web was assigned as homework at
http://www.dcn.org/dcn/ipc/ipc_projectweblinks.html the purpose of
the review is to establish that the projects are accomplishing the
intended goals for both the community groups and DCN (DCN's
goal being to assist and support the groups in their missions and
purposes.
