We will provide an overview of the social media opportunities available to nonprofit organizations. We will discuss how today's modern nonprofits are using social media to increase awareness for their causes, inform and educate their communities, grow and engage their memberships, enhance fundraising, enhance advocacy efforts - in short, to become far more effective in meeting their missions! What are the most popular social media choices and how does a nonprofit get started?

Space is limited and is first come first served. Please contact to register.

The instructors are Teri Greenfield and Kari Peterson. The meeting is held at the City Computer Lab in the Yolo County Health & Justice Building, which is between City Hall and the Senior Center, on A St between Russell and Sixth. Enter the courtyard on the south side of the building; the lab will be the first door on your right.
