The goal of this listserv is to help members and supporters of Davis Advocates for Neighborhood Groceries (DANG) ensure that a full-service grocery store is reopened and maintained at the Westlake Plaza Shopping Center in West Davis to meet the needs of the surrounding neighborhoods. Our group also is advocating for a return of neighborhood stores to shopping centers in other parts of town. DANG beleives that neighborhood groceries protect property values, reduce driving, traffic and pollution, and enhance community and neighborliness.
