About Dsot	English (USA)
The Davis Area Special Olympics Team is a year round competitive sports program for children and adults with developmental disabilities in the Davis area. Athletes must be at least 8 years old to participate. During the year, Team Davis offers the following sports with weekly practices: basketball, snowshoeing, swimming, golf, soccer, track, softball and in-line skating/hockey. We participate in a tournament with other teams from Northern California at the end of each sport's 2 – 3 month season. Currently,74 athletes from Davis and Woodland participate in one or more sports during the year, with 15 to 35 athletes participating in each sport.
