Our wildlife habitat is also certified by the National Wildlife Federation. We have over 50 identified species of birds as well as cottontails, jack rabbits, tree squirrels, ground squirrels, toads and occasional other species that pass through our site.

Our office, well pump, and irrigation are powered by the sun, not by your taxes, thanks to our solar panels. We have restored the only swale left in Davis, here on our property, by replacing non-native species with native grasses and sedges.

Did you know that we also practice integrated pest management? It's one of the methods we use to lower our use of pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. Monarchs, damselflies, praying mantis, and ladybugs are among the insects encouraged by our integrated pest management program and native grass plantings.

We encourage you to stop by with binoculars, a camera, or a sketch pad. However, please DO NOT FEED our wildlife. They are WILD!
