New Mexico Broadband and Smart Grid Summit

Please join Senators Jeff Bingaman and Tom Udall at the New Mexico Broadband and Smart Grid Summit in Moriarty, NM on August 16th from 8:30am - 12:00pm.

Co-hosted by USDA Rural Development, the Summit will bring together policymakers, issue experts, and industry leaders for an important discussion on creating economic opportunity and increasing energy independence through broadband and smart grid deployment.

Confirmed speakers include:  RUS Administrator Jonathan Adelstein; NTIA Deputy Administrator Anna Gomez; U.S. Chief Technology Officer Aneesh Chopra; and Federal Smart Grid Task Force Director Eric Lightner.

Most importantly, your participation in the New Mexico Broadband & Smart Grid Summit will help begin a dialogue to inform future policy decisions to promote job growth and energy independence.
