Democrat Club Presents An Election Panel Balloting Machines and Election Fraud.
                        PROTECT YOUR VOTE
Date: Tuesday, May 9, 2006

Time: 6:30PM to 7PM -- Potluck
Time: 7PM -- Program on voter machine balloting and election fraud. 
Featured Guest Panelists:  Freddie Oakley, Matt Bishop, Steve Ybarra. 
Place: Blanchard Room of the Davis Branch, Yolo County Library<
Location: 315 East 14th Street 
Davis, CA 95616

Come share food and break bread with the Democrats of Davis.  We have
invited and will hear from Experts on Paper Balloting, Voter Machine
Balloting and Election Fraud.  

There will be a potluck on Tuesday, May 9th sponsored by the Davis Democrat
Club starting at 6:30PM.  People are encouraged to pass out election and
Democratic party information or articles to the membership.

Please bring your favorite food you like to cook or prepare or purchase,
either a main dish, salad or dessert to share with 4 to 6 to 8 people.  The
Club will provide coffee, cups, forks and spoons and chocolate candies.  The
suggested donation at the door will be $5.  
Potluck suggested breakdown of alphabet for food to bring to event.  If your
last name starts with:
                A-I  Bring a main dish
                J-R  Bring a salad dish (green, macaroni, or potato or other)
                S-Z  Bring a dessert

Since the general membership will be at this meeting, this will facillitate
the passage of resolution put before the General Members of the Davis
Democrat Club.  

I.  We plan to vote to accept of reject a resolution in favor of Imenient
Doman concerning the Conaway Ranch.  This resolutions has already endorsed
by the Davis Democrat Club Board at the May 2nd Board Meeting and passed 14
to 0.  It will be decided by motion whether or not this will be a secret or
public vote.  (A sub-committee was appointed to discuss whether certain
words were to be adjusted in this resolution.  That sub-committee will
present any revisions to this resolution at the meeting.)

II. We also plan to vote on endorsing Barbara Bowen, a member of the Davis
Democrat Club, for Secretary of State of California at this general meeting.
The Davis Democrat Club Board voted to endorse Barbara Bowen (13 to 1) at
the May 2nd Board Meeting.  It will be decided by motion whether or not this
will be a secret or public vote.
