Our sister club up in Woodland has a pretty cool gig on tap for Friday night. 

This may be the only chance you will get to nail me with a water balloon. Don't miss out!

Just a reminder that the Woodland Area Democratic Club invites you, your family and friends to their annual Ice Cream Social and Water Fight on Friday evening, August 10, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.
   
  Come to 67 Third Street in Woodland (northeast corner of Third & Clover Streets) to enjoy ice cream and fun.  This event is free and all Democrats and their friends are welcome!
   
  WORD OF WARNING:  We've decided that water pistols and water guns will NOT be allowed at the party -- too many eye injuries have occurred at similar parties, and we don't anyone to get hurt!  WE WILL PROVIDE WATER BALLOONS, READY FOR FUN AND COMPETITIVE GAMES.  You might want to bring more (empty) balloons, just in case -- we have two hose bibs in the Water Fight Area for balloon-filling purposes!
    
  WHAT TO BRING:  
   
  Your own towel!!!
  Your own lawn chair or picnic blanket!!!  
  Your own (empty) balloons!!!
   
  We will supply the ice cream, toppings, bowls, cones, spoons, and water!
   
  See you Friday evening, just as the weather has warmed back up into the 90's, after a long week slaving away in our respective salt mines!
