Greetings All Club Members,

This is the FINAL REMINDER for the Barbecue this Sunday.

If it is rainy -- do now worry, Stephen Souza has lots of outdoor canopy
space and there is room inside. Stephen owns and will use one of those
outdoor kerosene heaters that are popular at restaurants, like LITTLE PRAGUE
and SOPHIAS.

This will be a very fun event. Mike Syvanen is going to make your Sausage
Sandwinches at this event -- Memorable -- with different condiments, sour
dough buns and the choice of two different exotic mustards. Stephen Souza
promises exotic sausages. So all around this is going to be an exotic treat
for your tummy. You will not be able to just eat one! And, you can
interact with great, fellow Democrats with commeraderie and friendship all
around.

At this point in time, if you are attending and want to eat exotic sausages
on exotic sour dough bread with exotic mustards and condiments, please RSVP.
There are over 40 people that have RSVPed and we need to know if we need to
purchase more sausages!

========================

This is to announce the Annual Davis Democratic Club Fall Barbecue. The
date will be Sunday October 21, 2007!!! The event will be from 3Pm to 6Pm.

This year it will be at the home of Stephen and Robin Souza 2424 Rodin Place
in Davis, CA 95618. Please use http://Mapquest.com or
http://googlemaps.com to find instructions to reach their home.

In keeping with an Oktober theme -- we will have Exotic Sausages, Potato
Salad (and green salads), Drinks and Fun!

The cost will be $20/person; $5 for students and those financially
disadvantaged.

Please RSVP to Stephen Souza at sasouza at sbcglobal.net or phone 758-2964. We
need to make sure that there are enough sausages for everyone.

This should be an extremely fun event as all barbecues have been that we
have had at the Souzas' Home. They have a huge koi pond surrounded by
vegetation representing plant fauna from around the State of California.
They also have canopies and outdoor heaters. This should be an very fun
event to attend and sample exotic sausages grilled and served by the DDC Board.

If you have questions, please visit the web site at
http://yvm.net/vme/democrats/ or you can call or e-mail Stephen Souza -- see
above for phone number and e-mail contact information.

Thank you for your attention,

Richard
