The following brief movie review is submitted by john c. chendo:

"No End in Sight" is a calm documentary, emphasizing dialogue and
journalistic interviews. By focusing on the immediate aftermath of our
conquest of Iraq, May-July of 2003, the film shows why there is no end in
sight, as the President confirmed in his speech this week.

The necessary phase of post-war reconstruction was given to American
officials and American companies who had no experience with the Arabic
language, combat, or planning of post-war reconstruction; and who took away
Iraqi structures without replacement.

Find out what Paul Bremer, General Jay Garner,General Erik Shinseki, U.S.
Ambassador Ms. Bodine, and resourceful American soldiers look like. Support
the independent Varsity Theater on 2nd Street in Davis by catching the
4:40pm or 8:40pm show this week.
