[Davis Democrats] Fundraiser this Friday for Jim Provenza at Jerry & Teresa Kaneko's Home

This is not an official Davis Democratic Club (DDC) function, but the Club
is chartered to help elect Democrats to public office.  Jim Provenza is a
member of the DDC Board of Directors and has been a supporting member of the
club for many years.  He has served on various committees of the DDC Board
and is the chair of the by-laws committee.

All candidates that are club members can submit their announcements to this
list.

  Senator Darell Steinberg and State Superintendent of Schools Delaine
Eastin, (ret), County Supervisor (4th District) Mariko Yamada, Davis School
Board President Sheila Allen,  Vice President Gina Daleiden and Trustee Tim
Taylor (and many other community members) are hosting a Cinco De Mayo Event
for Jim Provenza for County Supervisor this Friday evening, May 2nd at 6:00
pm.  Please join them to show your support for Jim's candidacy to the 4th
district.
   
  Jim has been endorsed by the Davis Democratic Club and all club members
are invited to join us in this celebration.
   
  Wonderful, home- made traditional Mexican food, margaritas, beer, wine,
and key lime pie will be served.  This will be a fun event and a relaxing
way to start the weekend!
   
  Cost is $40.00 per person, and $20.00 for seniors and students.
