Dear fellow Dems: Let U.S. Senators know that we are counting on their
vote for health insurance reform including the public option.

Call the phone number, which is first, to leave your comment with a staffer;
if you can do more, use the fax number, which is second, to send a note in
your own writing. Faxes may get more permanent attention, and can be easily
done during the slow days of the weekend. (All area codes are 202, for
Washington, DC.)

We need these U.S. Senators for the health insurance reform bill to pass
,without filibuster, so that it can go to President Obama for his signature
this year. Time is of the essence. Health insurance reform was a top
priority and a mandate of the presidential election of 2008.

You may know friends in these particular states.
Also: wild cards, 2 Republican Senators from Maine-Susan Collins and Olympia
Snow. And Independent Senator from Connecticut-Joe Lieberman.

P.S. please remember to THANK our Congressman, Mike Thompson, for his vote
and for his influential leadership among Blue Dog Democrats in the
Congress.

And to THANK our US Senators from California, Diane Feinstein and Barbara
Boxer, for their work in making sure that the health insurance reform bill
gets to open debate so that President Obama can sign the bill this year.

Thank you Davis Dems, John Chendo
