I will be sending out at least two more e-mails about this event in the coming months. The time slot from noon to 2PM has been filled. Contact me soon, or your favorite time slot may fill up. You are welcome to come stop by the booth to say hello and visit us. Lyle Smith will be present and in charge of the booth for the Yolo County Democratic Central Committee throughout the day. YOLO COUNTY FAIR BOOTH DAVIS DAY PLACE: Yolo County Fair Grounds 1125 East Street Commerce Building Date: Saturday, August 20, 2011 Booth Opens: Noon Closes: 11PM Guests: Photo Op with Barack Obama & Michelle Obama (life size cardboard cut-out) Free gifts: Davis Democratic Club collectable Fan Cost: FREE This is the day that the Davis Democratic Club mans the Democratic booth at the Yolo County Fair. If you are a fair goer, stop by the booth and say hello to club members at the booth. As long as the supply lasts, we will also be distributing Davis Democratic Club Donkey fans to use to keep cool. Once these are gone, there are no more to be had. The printer has gone out of business. If you want to step up and volunteer to welcome people to the booth and register new voters, there are two hour shifts available. They are 2 to 4, 4 to 6, 6 to 8, and 8 to 10PM. We have no volunteers currently for the the noon to 2 shift is completely filled.
