This is in response to an e-mail to the Davis Democratic Club, where the City Manager wanted to present to the club at a DDC General Meeting. --------------------- Fellow Davis Democratic Club members, Steve Pinkerton, Davis City Manager has asked if he could present at a Davis Democratic Club General Meeting. So far, there are no plans to do this and I plan to present this item at the next DDC Board meeting. In the mean time, you can see a presentation of the Davis City Manager at this free public event. There are many DDC Board member that are part of this organization meeting including President Arun Sen and Past Presidents Bob Bockwinkel and Stephen Souza. Steve Pinkerton, Davis City Manager, is the keynote speaker for the 190th Davis Progressive Business Exchange lunch meeting. This is presented as an opportunity for the new Davis City Manager to meet with residants and business people of Davis, introducing himself. He plans to provide a State of the City report. He will discuss the City's budget, economic development efforts, new water supply project and our infrastructure needs (parks, street maintenance, etc.). He would also like to hear your feedback from those attending on what their priorities are for Davis. The Davis PBE lunch meeting will be at noon on Wednesday, February 19, 2014.
