Vaclav and Eva are planning to close their family restaurant this summer. They immigrated to Davis from Prague, where Vaclav was a professional basketball player. Tonight, Friday July 11, 6-9pm, Riggity Jig band, led by David Riggs, will play  their last  gig, with Celtic music and Czech and Austro-Hungarian food. All are welcome to the no-host bar with  plenty of specials on Czech  beer, wine, and cocktails. Come and taste fine desserts, apple strudel, cheesecake,layer cakes,  from their  bakery. Eva’s cooking features vegetarian specials, cold summer soups, trout with caraway, salmon, schnitzels, filet mignon.  Apologies for the late notice, but you are welcome to stop by at any time between 6-9pm, hear the last Czech ceilidh by the Riggity Jigs, and have a drink or something good to eat on a Davis 2nd Friday in July evening.
