The following is an announcement for this volunteers list. This is not an
official Davis Democratic Club event. This is for a presentation by a
current 4th assembly candidate and a person running for Davis City Council.
This is an opportunity to hear from Democrat Bill Dodd and Democrat Sheila
Allen running for public office. These announcements are from G Richard
Yamagata, Davis Democratic Club Recording Secretary. This event is this
coming Wednesday, March 19.

MARCH 19, 2014 -- This Wednesday
Announcement: This is a free event that we thought that people, especially
Democrats of the community of Davis would like to attend to be informed.

Greetings Davis Democratic Volunteers and Supporters,

You are all cordially invited to the DavisProBiz Exchange meeting this
coming Wednesday. The featured speakers will be: Bill Dodd, who is
currently running for the 4th Assembly District race. This meeting is to
get to know who he is and what are his thoughts about the 4th Assembly
District. The second speaker will be Sheila Allen, who is running for Davis
City Council. Sheila is well known in the community of Davis and is a
current Davis School Board Member. She is also a Davis Democratic Club member.

Both of these candidates are Democrats. It is unfortunate, but the
DavisProBizExchange will NOT be inviting any of the registered Republican
candidates for Assembly and City Council. All of the Republican candidates
declared on the last day of filing for City Council and Assembly and the PBE
had already scheduled the speakers and there is no more room for candidates
to speak.

We may have Republican candidates show up at our May 28 meeting -- 9 weeks
away, but they are not scheduled to speak. All PBE visitors are given less
than 2 minutes to speak. Our featured speakers are given 15 to 20 minutes
to present.

The meeting is on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 starting at 11:45AM and ends 1PM
at the International House in Davis. There is no charge for this event.
Please RSVP to G Richard Yamagata if you will be attending, so we can order
enough food.
Date: March 19, 2014
Time: 11:45 Am to 1:00 Pm
Place: International House
Location: 10 College Park
Northeast corner of Russell Blvd & College Park
Downtown Davis, CA 95616
