Davis City Councilman, Brett Lee, will be the keynote speaker at the 231st Meeting of the Davis Progressive Business Exchange on Wednesday, November 18. Brett will talk about the issues with the bars downtown, the proposed tech park, the Nishi proposal and will be open for questions. This is a lunch time meeting from 11:45AM to 1PM. The Davis PBE meets for lunch time meetings the first and third Wednesdays at the International House, 10 College Park off of Russell Blvd in Davis, CA. The Davis PBE is a Davis businessmen's lunch organization. Lunch is being paid for by David Pinto Insurance and will be catered by Lamppost Pizza. There is no cost to attend. FOOD: Supplied by the DDC Board. (DDC members are invited to bring their favorite dish) If you decide to bring a dish, please bring enough of your favorite food to share with 4 people. The idea behind this is that if you do not like any of the food that is supplied by the board, at least you can eat what you bring. We usually have this event on the first Friday in December. This year, it is on the First Sunday in December. If this happens one more time, it will be the official new night for this event. This is not a Davis Democratic Club event, and is posted as a courtesy. All are welcome from any party or no party; it is non-partisan. What: ?I Like Hillary? for President. Not a fundraiser. There is no charge for attending. It is no-host: The restaurant is graciously allowing us the use of their banquet hall in the back. No one needs to order anything. It is Grassroots: no political party is paying for anything. His wife, Sharry, was in the same class at Wellesley College with Hillary Rodham when Hillary Rodham was elected class president and when she gave the valedictory speech for her class at graduation. They have kept in touch since college days.
