Rights and School Board Candidates...? The Progressive Business Exchange will be having a meeting next week from 11:45AM to 1PM. At the next Progressive Business Exchange lunch time meeting on Wednesday, October 17, the keynote speaker will be Mike Jansen of the Law Offices of Timmons, Owen, Jansen & Tichy Inc.? Mr Jansen is the PBE's most popular speaker in terms of attendance. He will be talking about arbitration or mediation versus your constitutional right to a jury trial to resolve legal disputes or law suits.? Our rights to a Jury Trial are slowly being eroded as the use of Mediators and Arbitration is being used to prevent people from going to court and filing law suits.? Mike Jansen will talk about this and how to become more aware of the right to a jury trial that you may be signing away when you sign a contract or agreement for service or care. Introduced at the meeting will Davis School Board candidates Thomas Adams and Joe Nunzio, who will say a few words about themselves and why they are running for school board.
