Subject: Ticket Takers Needed for Jazz Band - Capital Jazz Project Concert: Sunday March 28

Dear Jazz Band Parents,

We still need two more people to help with ticket sales at this Sunday's 7:00 PM concert with the Jazz Band and Capital Jazz Project.  Ticket sales begin at 6:30 PM, so you need to be there about 6:15 to set up.  Please let me (matlockpeter at yahoo.com) or Peggy Bernardy (pbernard at water.ca.gov) know if you can help.

Also--remember that Leslie McDaniel will be selling water and snacks.  Please let Leslie know if you can help (lmcd at pacbell.net, Leslie's email from earlier this week is copied below).

The Capital Jazz Project is not only performing with the Jazz
 Band this Sunday, but also returning to help our students prepare for the Monterey Festival.  CJP has waived their usual fee in return for net ticket and cookie receipts.  So please help CJP support our students: come to the concert this Sunday; bring your friends, co-workers, neighbors, in-laws, distant cousins, mail carriers, auto mechanics and acupuncturists; and eat lots of cookies!

A copy of the concert flier is attached: it's suitable for framing and makes a stylish addition to your workplace wall...

It will be a great concert!

Jazz Band families,
We're organizing refreshments for the CJP/DHS jazz band 
concert on Sunday, March 28. 
Please let us know if 
you have a folding table available to use for refreshments.
Please drop off bottled water, bottled/can juice, or bottled 
coffee/tea drinks to our house anytime before March 28 or on that day up to 6
 PM. Address is 416 11th Street (near D St.).
Any cookies or baked goods can be dropped off at our house or 
brought directly to the concert--if bringing directly to the concert 
please arrive a bit early.
