[Dhsbb-jazz] Announcement for band parents

Hi DHS Band Parents,

Davis High School band students are ready to perform at your house or business, and it is not too late to request a performance.   The Rent-A-Band fundraiser has been a fixture of the DHS bands for over 26 years!  People throughout Davis have hired small groups of students to provide holiday entertainment at all sorts of gatherings.

If you are planning a party during the holidays, groups of students from Symphonic, Jazz and Concert Bands have practiced their holiday music, leaders are in place and groups are waiting to play at your house or your business. Consider hiring a group to entertain at a senior living center.  You will be surprised at how much fun it is to delight your guests with live music.

We are sending out a bigger and better sound this year with an ensemble of six to twelve students to entertain you.  You may hire them for 40 minutes @$100 or $125 for one hour.  Piano soloists will be available at $60.00  . Gigs are scheduled between Nov. 19 and Dec. 18.
