Elementary School is looking for high school musicians who are interested in
sharing their love of music with elementary school students. We would
love to have high school students volunteer to help with the BRAVO music
program. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial;color:blue'>BRAVO is
a music appreciation program that teaches children about composers, instruments
and, rhythm patterns. The goals of the BRAVO program are to provide music
appreciation, to develop music listening skills in children, to promote
exposure to classical musical masterpieces and to guide children to recognize
and experience music as a form of creative expression. Volunteers come to
the classrooms six times during the school year to present 30 to 60 minute lessons,
each lesson focusing on one classical composer. Student volunteers may
share the year with other volunteers if they are unable to commit to the entire
six-composer program. The timing of the in-class lessons is extremely
flexible and can be catered to the volunteer’s schedule, as long as the
volunteer is available at some time during Patwin’s school day. Training,
curriculum and activity ideas are provided.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
