<DIV>Hi all,</DIV>
<DIV>There has been some question as to the ability to use a US Passport card
for our trip. And yes, those are fine too (I just learned about these,so
they were not in my original document posted to the web page). They are a
bit cheaper than a passport, but only good for travel by land or sea into and
out of Canada, Mexico, Bermuda (and the Caribbean I think?). Note, if you
think your child might use this documentation at any other time over the next 5
years (or 10 years if over the age of 16) you might consider the full
passport. Even if they travel back to these destinations, if
entered by AIR, the passport card will not work. <BR><BR>For this band
trip however, we are definitely entering Canada by Land or Sea, so the passport
card will work. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Below is a list copied from the ferry website, about required documentation
for anyone. You will see a few additional things listed here which are not
included on our list, since our list is the school groups list, but since we
will have a variety of chaperones with us, there, may be useful info below for
them. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Please refer to the list of options for travel documents on the band web
page for the requirements for students traveling with the group</DIV>
