<DIV>Our largest fundraiser of the year is about a month away - <STRONG><U>An
Evening at Coconut Grove, on Sat. March 8th.</U></STRONG> I hope everyone will
consider attending this memorable event and spread the word to others. Funds
raised will directly help with the Victoria Spring Band trip costs. </DIV>

<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>At the event we traditionally have a silent auction. One way band families
can help with the overall success of the evening is to consider donating an
auction item for the event.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>This could be anything from putting together a fun gift basket to offering
a vacation home or time share week. In the past we have had auction items of
students offering pet care or yard work services, a musical combo to
provide entertainment at an event, themed gift baskets, and homemade items such
as jewelry, quilts, woodwork, art or photography prints. Some parents have
offered a service from their business - one or 2 free sessions could generate
some new long term customers creating a win - win situation. If you have
anything your family could donate please let us know. Even small items can often
be paired together to create a wonderful auction item. <BR></DIV>
<DIV>Please think about what you might have to offer at the silent auction and
help to make this night a huge success for our kids and their trip to Victoria
in the spring. </DIV>
