<p class="gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify">The DHS Jazz Band and
Combos are scheduled to play at the <a href="http://www.unr.edu/rjf/">Reno Jazz
Festival</a> this year.  The festival is
held at the University of Nevada,.  Festival
schedules, maps, places to eat, etc. will all be posted <a href="http://www.unr.edu/rjf/Visitors_and_Parents.html">here</a> as they are
made available by the festival organizers. 
Currently our Jazz Band and two Combos are guaranteed a slot to play and
two Combos are wait-listed.  We won’t
know for sure whether or not all four will be playing until the schedule is
published later this month.<span></span></p>

<p class="gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify"><b><u>SCHEDULE:<span></span></u></b></p>

<p class="gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify">We will be leaving DHS
on Friday April 28^th at 2:45pm and heading to The Nugget Hotel.  We will check in at the hotel and then proceed
to UNR.  The Boosters will provide Subway
sandwiches for the bus ride.  Dinner will
be late.  I will pick up turkey and ham
sandwiches.  Please let me know if anyone
<b><i>needs</i></b>
a different sandwich.  Once at UNR we
will be attending the Friday evening concert. 
You can check out who is playing at <a href="http://www.unr.edu/rjf/Concerts.html">http://www.unr.edu/rjf/Concerts.html</a>.  After the concert we will proceed to <a href="http://www.nuggetcasinoresort.com/">The Nugget</a> and have a late dinner
at the hotel.   The hotel has many dining
options that can be found <a href="http://www.nuggetcasinoresort.com/dining-en.html">here</a>.  We will probably all be eating at Rosie’s
Café unless a buffet is still open when we get there.  We will be performing on Saturday and
returning home in the late afternoon or early evening.<span></span></p>

<p class="gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify"><b><u>COST:</u></b><span></span></p>

<p class="gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify">The Booster’s will be
covering the cost of the bus, a room for the driver, a room for Mr. Slabaugh,
and a substitute for Mr. Slabaugh, as well as the cost of the concert on
Friday, entrance fees, festival fees, etc.<span></span></p>

<p class="gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify">The Cost of the room
per student is $46.00 and there will be up to 4 students per room.  Please make payment to DHS Band Boosters.<span></span></p>

<p class="gmail-MsoNormalCxSpMiddle" style="text-align:justify">Students should have
enough money with them to purchase dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch and
dinner on Saturday, as well as any snacks, T-shirts, etc. that they may want.<span></span></p>

a fun trip, our kids are fun to be around, and the more of us that are there
