> Hi everyone! We did it! We raised enough money and both the band and orchestra invoices have been paid in full to the tour company!

> Why? You ask? Why do we need to still raise money? Because the tour group has been paid, but we need to make sure we have enough money for all the kids to have food money, we need to have extra for large instrument  airline travel fees, and some in reserve for whatever unexpected costs may come up. Also, due to the enormous amount of money going through Band Boosters this year, it complicates what we owe in accounting fees that Band Boosters now has to pay, so we need to cover that too.

> The next and final fundraiser we have scheduled is Saturday May 5 from 4-7 pm. It is a beer tasting and food trucks at Sudwerks, with a really fun lecture with nationally renowned craft beer expert Charles Bamforth (Professor at UC Davis). Please MARK YOUR CALENDARS to save the date. And start inviting friends, or birthday present,  or date night! The cost is likely to be around $45 per person. Details, fliers, Facebook page will be coming soon. We will need everyone to help spread the word, and need people to help plan and volunteer at the event. So let me know if you can help with planning.
