Happy February,
There are a couple of interesting concerts in March at the Brunelle-  both with DHS grads.   Please share with your classes as you see fit.

And March 24th –   (Their words...)
The Byron Colborn Big Band makes their debut performance on March 24th at the Richard Brunelle Performance Hall in Davis, CA. The band is comprised of some of the finest musicians in the Sacramento area. For their debut concert this 17 piece ensemble will perform classic works by Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Count Basie, Gerry Mulligan, Buddie Rich and others. The concert is open seating and will feature two sets and an intermission where refreshments will be served.

$15 adv/$20 door.  All ages.

Saxophonist Byron Colborn is a prominent figure in the Sacramento music scene.  Colborn leads the Element Brass Band, his 17 piece big band, and a variety of smaller size combos.  Byron performs regularly with vocalist Peter Petty and he is also active as a teacher, both privately and with "Bigger Than Us Arts."
