health conditions). This is a critical moment in the growing outbreak of COVID-19 in our State, region, and county when such measures, if implemented properly, can help to slow the spread of this disease.</span>

programs, performances, events and teams. Canceling, postponing or modifying events is difficult, but a very important decision toward protecting vulnerable populations. </span></div>

is confirmed to have COVID-19, the Superintendent and Yolo County Public Health officials will consider, based on the specific facts and circumstances of that case, whether closure of that school is warranted. The Yolo County Public Health Department is not
recommending school closures at this time because individuals under 18 years of age have not been shown to be a high-risk group for serious illness from this virus. Should the Public Health Department and Superintendent determine a school closure is warranted,
the duration is likely to be the length of time needed to conduct cleaning protocols and determine readmission criteria.</span></div>

está recomendando el cierre de escuelas en este momento, ya que no se ha observado que las personas menores de 18 años sean un grupo de alto riesgo de contraer la enfermedad grave que ocasiona este virus. En caso de que el Departamento de Salud pública determine
que se justifica el cierre de las escuelas, el plazo probablemente será el necesario para llevar a cabo protocolos de limpieza y para determinar los criterios de readmisión.</span>

<div><span style="font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Debido a que la información está cambiando rápidamente, compartimos esta importante actualización de Salud Pública sobre la orientación para personas expuestas. Según las normas de Salud pública, con
el cambio de contención a mitigación, ya no es necesario que una persona que ha estado en contacto con otra persona que padece el COVID-19 se ponga en cuarentena durante 14 días. Esto se aplica al público en general como así también a los trabajadores del
cuidado de la salud y quienes brindan los primeros auxilios. No obstante, las personas expuestas deben monitorear por su cuenta si tienen síntomas respiratorios y fiebre. Si se presentan síntomas, deben permanecer en sus casas para proteger a quienes están
sanos - nuevamente, durante 72 horas después de que los síntomas desaparezcan, o durante 7 días a partir de que la aparición de los síntomas, lo que sea más lejano en el tiempo. </span></div>

y jabón disponibles.</span></li><li style="font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><span style="font-size: 16px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Cubrirse la boca al toser con un pañuelo de papel o con el codo (no con las manos).
