REMINDER

      1.        Beginning Monday, October 18, students must part in the Veterans Memorial lot. All DHS staff will park in the staff lots located on W. 14th at Oak Street near the MPR and Oak Street/New Gym. Students may not park in designated staff lots or they risk a parking violation citation and/or school assigned consequences.

NEW

      1.        Hey Key Clubbers! Come stop by our 4th general meeting this Wednesday in S-12! Don't forget it's time to turn in membership forms, so spread the buzz and tell all your friends! See you all there!

      2.        Do you want to hear the most annoying sound ever?!?!  **high pitched AAEE sound for 7 seconds** If you thought that sound was annoying, turn in your Friendship Day permissions slip into the front office by Thursday. At Friendship Day you will be surrounded by noises like this **silly laughing-tee hee hee hee, ha ha ha ha, chirp chirp.

TODAY

      1.        Cafeteria: Beef dippers with rice, stuffed pasta shells with red sauce, baked potato bar, pizza, sandwich.

      2.        The North Davis Volunteer Club will be having a meeting Tuesday, October 19th at lunch in L-21! Come and learn about volunteering in the North Davis Elementary School reading room and sibling club. See you there!

      3.        The First CAML (California mathematics league) test is Tuesday, October 19. The test can be taken at lunch in any math room. Ask you teacher for extra credit.

4.      Interested in learning about Persian Culture come down to Persian Student Union at lunch on     October 19th in L-20.

        JOB OPPORTUNITY: Supercuts hair salon is looking for a receptionist. Duties include     operating the cash register, sweeping, and customer service. Pay is $8.00 per hour. Full and    part-time openings are available. Hours are flexible.  Come to the Scholarship and Financial Aid        Office next to counseling for contact information.
