REMINDER

1.         The DHS Men's Basketball season is just around the corner! A conditioning program is being held by the high school coaches for all interested athletes during the basketball dead period (Oct 18-Nov 7) on Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 5-6:30 PM at the DHS new gym and track. These sessions will primarily focus on strength training, endurance, speed, agility & quickness. It is very important for all players to attend in order to be in the best shape possible before the official tryouts. Try outs begin on Nov 8th for all levels. 2.*        LOST AND FOUND Bike over the weekend in bushes. If this was your bike please come to front office to give description and claim your bike!

1.         Do you love teaching little kids math? If so, come to Mu Alpha Theta meeting today at lunch in Mr. Ronning's class. We will be discussing the Willett Math Club. See you there!

2.         Do you like strategy games? Does trying to outwit your opponent get your blood pumping? Then come to Chess Club on Monday, November 1st. Whether you're an experienced player trying to learn new strategy or a beginner just learning the game, come on over for tons of fun. Check Mate!!!

3.         Please join us next Tuesday during lunch in the IPAB for a presentation entitled, "What If I'm White? White People in America's Struggle for Racial Justice." It is brought to you courtesy of the Race and Social Justice class. Harvard University Professor Mark Warren will talk about his book, Fire in The Heart: How White Activists Embrace Racial Justice. There will be plenty of time for students' questions. Please remember, there is no food or drink allowed in the IPAB.

4.         Attention CSF members! We will be having a general meeting this Friday in P-13 at lunch. Come to sign up for new projects and get your semesterly meeting requirements fulfilled.
