Are you a fan of "So You Think You Can Dance?"  Come see the DHS version, "Everybody Dance Now!" at the IPAB this Saturday at 7:00.   TODAY is the last day to get your tickets at the table on the Quad  during lunch for the low price of $5 for students and $8 for adults. At the door, tickets will be $10 for everyone.

Announcing the 1st annual Good Health Festival, a fundraiser for the Davis High School Blue and White Foundation.  This event is FREE to the public on October 1st, 2011 from noon till 4pm at the Covell Professional Center on the corner of W. Covell Blvd and Anderson Rd in Davis, CA. Over a dozen local sports and health professionals will be offering free services including: massage; spinal screenings; acupuncture; physical therapy; dental information and shoe fittings. There will also be a guest appearance by the Davis Fire Department! The fire engine will be arriving at 2pm. Bring the family and enjoy grilled hotdogs , vegi-dogs, cupcakes, frozen yogurt,  live music and two bounce houses! For additional information call Dr. Bryon Cloyd, D.C. at 530-574-5654.

-Attention Key Clubbers:  if you are planning to attend the Fall Rally trip to Six Flags next month, you MUST attend a mandatory informational meeting today at lunch in S-12!

-Hey Blue Devils! There's a Blue Devils Club meeting today at lunch in N-10. If you want a shirt, remember to bring money! Regular shirts are $11. Customized shirts are $16. Hope to see you there.

-Are you interested in learning about the U.S. Marine Corps?  If so, a representative of the Marines will be in the Career Center in N-17 at lunch today to provide information and answer questions about the Marines.  See you in the Career Center on Friday at lunch!

The World's Greatest Bicycle Parade is Sunday, October 2nd! Register online today and help Davis break a new Guinness World Record for the Longest Single Line of Bicycles. Our goal is 1500 riders! Davis is the City of Bicycles, so it is only fitting that we should continue to own the World Record! To register, go to:   www.WorldsGreatestBicycleParade.com. The parade starts @ 10:02 am, in downtown Davis. The cost is $10 per person, or $20 with an optional T-shirt.  All proceeds after expenses will go to the Davis Schools Foundation to benefit much needed programs for our Davis public schools!  The schools with the highest percentage participation will receive a trophy to display in their school office! After the parade, a festival at Central Park will have a food court, and a family fun zone.  Don't wait: Registration closes on Saturday or when we reach 1,500 riders.

-The first NHS meeting is Monday, October 3. We will discuss upcoming projects and collect hour sheets. See you in S-12 at lunch.

Korean Club will be having our first cultural presentation Monday, October 3 at lunch in P-20. Join us on Monday to enjoy and learn about Korean culture.

Show off your skills or learn new ones! Come join the Freestyle Club at lunch at the stage on the quad Tuesday, October 4.

- Student Planners for 2011-2012 are available at the Main office contact Lynette (for students) and Tatiana (for teachers).

-Picture Retake Day is Tuesday, October 4.  Forms are in the Front Office.  Watch for details in the Daily Bulletin or visit lifetouch.com

-The CITY OF DAVIS NORTHERN CALIFORNIA COLLEGE TOUR still has spots available for upcoming college trips. Trip includes official college tour, lunch and transportation. Upcoming trips include: 10/1/2011: Stanford University and Santa Clara University; 10/8/2011: California State University, Chico;10/22/2011: University California Berkeley and St. Mary's College. Come to the Career Center in N-17 for more information.

-Accio nerds! Are you secretly a Harry Potter fan and want to express yourself in a super fun club? Then come to the Harry Potter Club on Monday, October 2 at lunch in Room N-12.

-Attention: Juniors! The PSAT is coming soon!  Sign-up at lunch October 3 through October 7 in the large conference room.  The tests will be held on Saturday, October 15 from 7:45 to 11:30 am.  The cost is $24.00 and you must bring your student ID.  10th graders may sign up on Friday only.  If the fee is a hardship, please see your counselor as soon as possible to arrange for a fee waiver.  This is available on a first-come, first-serve basis only.

-Outdoor Education counselor applications are now available in the Career Center, N-17.  Elementary schools that need counselors are:  Korematsu, Montgomery, Patwin, and North Davis.

-Seniors! Do you have a vision or a skill you would like to see used at Graduation this year? Come to C-4 to pick up a Graduation Committee application so we can begin planning. Applications are due October 4 to Room C-4.

-Students and Teachers! An art project is being proposed for our new stadium. If you would like to be a part of the decision, please come to the Library's west conference room at lunch on October 4 to speak with our designer. She will tell us about the purse, the process, elicit you feedback, and tell how you can help.
