THIS DAY IN HISTORY 1979:  In a ceremony at the White House, Egyptian
President Anwar el-Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin signed a
historic peace agreement, ending three decades of hostilities between Egypt
and Israel and establishing diplomatic and commercial ties

Interested in trying out for the Nationally Ranked DHS Cheerleading Team?
All candidates must attend our Mandatory Tryout Information Night on April
16th, 6pm in the DHS Library.  Tryouts will be held the week of April

Davis High Girls Golf Team will have an informational meeting for girls
entering 9th through 12th grade in the Fall of 2013. Parent and golfers
please attend to learn more about the Fall season and summer opportunities.
The meeting is April 18th at 7:00 pm at the high school in room N-08.  If
you cannot attend the meeting, please email Coach Mohr for more

LUNCH CHOICES:   Farm to School Pizza, Hamburger or Chicken Patty on a bun
with fries & grilled veg, yum!

The Chinese Club will meet today at lunch in T-3 for a general meeting.

Tony Fields singing and reading auditions are today during 7th and after
school in P-11.  Come ready with the chorus of a pop song!  There will be a
mandatory cast meeting on Thursday, 3/28 at 2:45 in P-11.

Latinos Unidos is hosting Anti-Discrimination week March 25th - 29th.  All
this week, there will be fun activities during lunch with music from
different cultures.  Monday, March 25th is Latinos Unidos day with 97.9
Radio Station and $6 Dos Coyotes burritos in the quad.  Hope to see you
there!

Seniors!  If you haven't submitted your request form for graduation
tickets, do so as soon as possible.  Take your form to the Finance Office.

It's your last chance to turn in your Friendship Day Facilitator
application!  The applications are due Wednesday, March 27 so get cracking!

CLUBS:
It's not too late to join the Davis Lady Rugby team!  Practices Monday -
Thursday,   4:00 - 6:00 at the field behind the public library and North
Davis.  No prior experience necessary!

ONGOING/UPCOMING EVENTS:
Seniors!  Come to the Holmes MPR on Friday, 3/29 to play some Bingo and win
prizes!  Admission is $5 and food is included with admission.  The time
will be 7:00 pm.  See you there!

Sophomores and Juniors!  Would you like to do research at UC Davis this
summer?  The UC Davis Young Scholars Program offers summer research
opportunities in biology and the natural sciences for high achieving high
school students.  Applications are due April 1.  Come to the Career Center
for more information and an application.

Seniors!  It's not too soon to think about Grad Night 2013!  The tickets
cover food, drinks and entertainment with Scholarships available through
school counselors.  Grad Night is an all-night party for graduating DJUSD
