TODAY:  AP Testing Continues today  -  Schedules available at the Front Desk and around campus.  The 7:30 am session begins with English Lit and Comp at the Vet's Memorial.  The afternoon testing session is Japanese Language and Culture in L-26 at 11:30.

Davis High summer Volleyball camp:  June 17-20th @ Davis High South Gym
Youth camp:  K-8th grade, 8-10am;  Team camp:  9-12th grade, 11-2pm  This camp is open to both boys and girls and is a great way to meet the Davis High coaches and other guest coaches.  All girls and boys planning on trying out for DHS volleyball next year should sign up for the team camp.  Other youth interested in learning the basic fundamental skills of volleyball, sign up for the youth camp. Girls, you don't need make-up to be beautiful.  Show your true beauty with LEAD participation in "Break Down the Foundation" on May 10th.  Come to school without makeup or worrying about hair and what to wear.  At lunch, come to the old gym and LFAD and show off your beauty!

NEW:  Recycling makes the environment greener.  A green environment makes the campus happy.  Let's make a happy campus by placing all papers, plastics and aluminium in the small blue recycling containers.  Thank you.

The Madrigals will be holding auditions for a tenor, bass, and accompanist on May 28th at lunch.  Please see Mrs. Gardias for details.

Attention ALL students, please check the list outside of A-7 (in the Humanities Hall) to verify that you have pre-purchased a yearbook. If you have any questions see Mrs. Thomsen in C-3. If you did not purchase a yearbook we should have a few extras and you can buy one for $95 during distribution in late May.

Students interested in singing the senior song at graduation, please pick up a copy of the music in PA-08. You will audition on your voice part on Tuesday, May 14 at lunch.

Attention Seniors!!!!!!!!!!!  Graduation tickets are on sale now.  Tickets may be purchased online from May 6-15 at the DHS Webstore.  You can access the Webstore at http://www.davisseniorhigh.net.  Click on "Pay Online." You may purchase any quantity of tickets up to the amount you requested.   We will also accept your payment at the DHS Finance Office at lunch only from May 6-10, 13-15.  If you have questions about your payment total, or the number of tickets you will receive, you may email Kimberly Perez at kperez at djusd.net<mailto:kperez at djusd.net> or call her at 530-757-5400 x113.

ONGOING/UPCOMING SENIORS:  Did you apply for a local scholarship?  Names of scholarship recipients are starting to arrive, so come to the Career Center to see if your name is on the list of recipients!

SENIORS:  Have you received any scholarships or awards not administered by the Career Center, such as scholarships from colleges or outside organizations?  If so, come to the Career Center and sign the "Outside Award" list.  These awards will be announced at Senior Awards Night on Tuesday, May 28 at 6:00 p.m. in the Richard Brunelle Theater.

Come to the Career Center on Friday, May 10 at lunchtime for "Coffee with the Campus Cop (Officer. Ellsworth)".  He will be meeting with students and answering questions related to campus safety, your rights, police careers, etc.  Show your appreciation for the work police do to keep our campus safe and also get to know Officer  Ellsworth.  Refreshments will be served.

Listen up Senior and Junior girls!  Do you want to play in this year's Powderpuff Football Game?  Well now is the chance!  Applications are available today in C-4 and are due May 10th at an informational meeting during lunch.

If you play guitar, bass, drums or piano, you can join a band and jam with other musicians with the City of Davis Summer Rock Band Camp.  The deadline to sign up is May 10, so come to the Career Center soon to pick up an application.

Please nominate a teacher you think is most deserving of the honor of Rotarian Teacher of the Year for the 2012-13 School Year.  The criteria for consideration are listed below as is the nomination form available in the front office. Please return the form with an attached description of your nominee to Kate Prien, Site Secretary, no later than noon on Friday, May 10, 2013.

The Drama Department presents 'Out on a Limb,' an edgy adult comedy.  Performances are on Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11 at 7:00 pm in the IPAB.  Student tickets are $6 and general admission is $12.

The Devil Day Car Show returns Wednesday, May 29, hosted by the DHS Car Club.  Cool cars and trucks will be on display all day in the quad with judging at lunch and a people's choice award you can vote on.  There are cool prizes for the winners including a car show t-shirt, free oil change or car care gift basket.  If you or someone you know wants to enter, the applications are in the main office or the Auto Shop Room, O-3.  Applications due May 15.  Hope to see you there!

Summer School - Classes will be available for students who need to make up credits.  Pick up a summer school application in the Counseling Office.
