$20 donation benefits DHS Athletics. Athletes in grades 7-12 are encouraged to complete their sports physicals this spring for the 2013-14 school year. TODAY:  Attention: Blue Devils! Interested in a career in Engineering?  The DHS Engineering and Architecture Club is having a mechanical engineer in the Career Center on Friday, May 31st at lunch.  Hope to see you there!

Attention all Math and Science Tutors: Today, Friday, May 31st, we will be holding our last meeting of the year at lunch in S-09.  Be sure to attend, you won't want to miss out!

NEW:  If you ordered Senior Ball pictures and have not picked them up, they are at the Front Desk!

Attention thespians: do you have summer plans?  Acme Theatre Company is producing Shakespeare's famous 'Romeo and Juliet.'  Auditions for high school students are June 6th and 7th @ DHS. On Friday, June 7, the remaining reserved-seat tickets for graduation will be sold at the stadium box office for $8.  Standing room only entry will also be sold.  The box office will be open at 5:00 pm and the stadium will open at 6:00.

Students wishing to purchase yearbooks can come to the Finance Office at lunch.  Caps, gowns, tassels, etc. are available for pick-up in the Finance Office during lunch and after school.

ONGOING/UPCOMING:  Summer Sizzler Unitrans passes are on sale in the Finance Office for $15.  The pass is valid from June 1 through August 15 for unlimited rides on any Yolobus route!

Important!  The west side of the DHS MPR Staff parking lot will  closed on June 3 for demolition staging with a full close-down of the lot on June 7.  Please use other Staff parking areas.

Seniors!  Come to Grad Night 2013!  The tickets cover food, drinks and entertainment.  Scholarships are available through school counselors.  This event is an all-night party for graduating DJUSD Seniors! SENIORS: Did you miss Senior Awards Night?  If your name is on the list outside the main office or Career Center, you may have a certificate waiting for you!  Come to the Career Center to pick up your certificate and a Senior Awards Night program!

Get your tickets now for Jazz Choir's JAZZ-N-POPS Saturday, June 1st, 7:00 pm at Brunelle Hall.  Pre-sale tickets available from Jazz Choir members and Mr. Zinn.  $5. students/$8 adults. Sophomores and juniors, do you love to dance?  Then start practicing over the summer for the Jazz Choir's  4th annual dance competition on Oct. 5th!  You can compete solo or with a friend to win cash prizes.  Any style of dance is fine.   More information will be available when school begins in August.

Seniors:  Don't forget to request your FINAL TRANSCRIPT to be sent to the college you will be attending.  Bring in a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the Transcript Counter and follow the posted instructions.  If your common application college is requesting submission of a final report, you will need to make a request at the transcript counter.  Stamped addressed envelope not needed.  Seniors, don't forget to fill out a permanent address card if you haven't already.  Turn in completed cards to the Front Desk or Counseling Office.
