THIS DAY IN HISTORY:  1995 - U.S. Air Force pilot Captain Scott O'Grady was rescued by U.S. Marines after surviving alone in Bosnia after his F-16 fighter was shot down on June 2.

ATHLETICS:   STADIUM CLOSED: The stadium will be closed Tuesday June 9th through Saturday June 13th to all programs for cleanup and graduation preparation.

Basketball players in grades 4th-8th are invited to the annual DHS Blue Devil Basketball Camp June 15-18. TODAY:  Did you get your yearbook yet?  Yearbooks will be available for sale for $100. in the Finance Office at lunchtime until they run out.  Don't wait!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS:  Attention all students! It's time to clean out your locker!  Please have your locker cleared of all books and personal belongings no later than 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 10, 2015!

Seniors! Did you miss Senior Awards Night?  If your name is on the list outside the main office or Career Center, you may have a certificate waiting for you!  Come to the Career Center to pick up your certificate and a Senior Awards Night program.

Grad Night Tickets are now $110.  Students can purchase entrance into Grad Night at the door.

ACADEMICS/OPPORTUNITIES: JOB OPPORTUNITY:  A local Davis business is looking for a part-time summer assistant to work 2-4 hours per week.  Job duties include video filming and editing, and use of computer programs including Word, email, Facebook and Youtube.  Pay is $8.00 per hour.  Girls are encouraged to apply.  Come to the Career Center for more information.

JOB OPPORTUNITY:  Quaker Church is looking for a childcare provider on Sunday mornings from 9:45-12:00. Pay is $8.50 per hour.  Come to the Career Center for more information.

Are you interested in hosting a Korean Exchange student but don't want the hassle of a long-term commitment?  This is the perfect opportunity for you!  Host two 13 year old Korean exchange students on July 16th.  Stop by P-14 on Wednesday, June 10th for more information.
