<p class="MsoNormal">The Red Cross club is planning for the first <b>blood drive</b> of the year which will take place, Monday, Nov. 9th in the south gym. Giving blood takes approximately one hour from start to finish and is safe and easy. To donate blood,
you must be at least 16, weight at least 110 and be free from cold or flu symptoms for at least 48 hours. If interested, please sign up on the quad at lunch this week or at the nurse’s office by Friday, Nov. 6. Walk-ins are accepted only if you are 18 or

<b>National Teen Driver Safety Week</b>. Impaired driving not only includes alcohol or drug use but also being distracted, tired or strongly emotional. It affects judgement, reaction times and awareness. This is especially dangerous for teen drivers who
crash at 4 times the rate of adults. Join the <b>SADD Club</b> to prevent the destructive decisions of teens. Upcoming meeting dates will be announced.
