<span style="color:black">On Tuesday, May 28<sup>th</sup>, DSHS will be hosting guest speaker Le Ly Hayslip. Le Ly Hayslip grew up in Vietnam and survived the Vietnam War. She has written two books about her experiences, and Academy Award winning director
Oliver Stone used these memoirs as the basis for his 1993 film "Heaven and Earth". Ms. Hayslip will be speaking on Tuesday, May 28<sup>th</sup> at lunch in Brunelle Theater. She will also give a longer lecture on May 28<sup>th</sup> in Brunelle Theater beginning
at 6 p.m. There is no charge for either event and the public is welcome to the 6 p.m. lecture. The English Department, RSJ, Student Government, DSHS Administration and DJUSD Administration sponsor these events.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
