Truly sad. A major passing. When I took over at NEC I met with Byron
in Mill Valley, at his favorite Italian restaurant. He had a regular
table (back against the wall), and he ordered for us. Then in one
hour he provided the best possible download on the Trinity River, its
environment, its people and its politics. Afterward, whenever we
spoke he was always kind, informative and rather difficult to keep up
with. He will be missed.

Tom, thanks for sending this along.
