My understanding is that coho are endangered throughout their southern range, and that gill nets will only be allowed on the Klamath.
But are you claiming that coho would have escaped the ravages of coastal drainage logging, which all the fish experts I've heard indict as the dominant negative influence on salmonids, especially coho, or that water diversions, estuary diking, ranching and other upstream resource extractions have had a negligible impact compared to Native fishing?
