Comparing the current drought with others in California history 

California is in the midst of a significant drought, but how does it compare
to other droughts in the state's history? 

DWR set out to answer that question with the new report, California's Most
Significant Droughts: Comparing Historical and Recent Conditions.

It was developed in response to questions about the current drought's
relative severity. The report looks back as far as the six-year drought of
1929-34.
