size=3>The 14<SUP>th</SUP> annual California Water Policy Conference entitled,
“California Dreaming:<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Time to Wake
Up”, will be held November 18 & 19, 2004 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los
Angeles.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The planning committee is
actively seeking award nominees and scholarship applicants for this event.

face="Times New Roman">This year the planning committee seeks to recognize
individuals, public and nonprofit agencies and companies that <SPAN
style="COLOR: black">enliven and expand the California Dream by pursuing
environmental justice while advancing innovation, breakthrough technologies,
community and collaborative programs, and/or new ways of thinking about water in
California. Deadline for nominations is Wednesday, September
15.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>

conference, but would not be able to attend without financial assistance is

scholarships to the conference were awarded.<SPAN
