Hoopa Valley Tribe and Westlands/San Luis& Delta-Mendota Water
Authority. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>The letter from Westlands/SLDMWA is on this
year's flows and appears to threaten litigation. The letter from the Hoopa
Valley Tribe references Westlands' letter, as well as a couple of
others by Westlands/SLDMWA recently posted on this list server about the
Lewiston Gravel Project and the Canyon Creek Mainstem Projects, but also deals
with issues such as the CVPIA Program Assessment Review, the massive
fishing closures due to weak K-T stocks, and deficiencies in the Bureau of
Reclamation's long-term CVP water contract renewals as they relate to the
Trinity River.</FONT></DIV>
