The committee's 17 members include water, wildlife and legal experts from across the nation.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>The committee earlier this year released a preliminary report that called most of endangered species protections in the Delta "scientifically justified." Its next charge is to complete a final report by November 2011 analyzing a range of environmental problems affecting the estuary. <o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"'>A second committee will convene at the same time to review the Bay Delta Conservation Plan.
