The meeting will be held at the local Trinity Public Utility District Office on Nov 8 from 9 am until 11 am. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.5pt'>The goal of the proposed Aquatic Restoration Policy is to provide greater permitting certainty to those qualifying Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Projects (AERPs) that result in a temporary discharge of waste to waters of the State. </span> The adoption of this policy by the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board would likely help in getting more restoration work on the ground and may serve as a template for other California regions to adopt. This could have some great ramifications for restoring your favorite water course. I have attached a description of the policy and the Waterboard’s public announcement .
