Klamath River, Huffman noted that at the end of July, Trinity Lake held just 888,000 acre-feet of water which is 288,000 acre-feet above the level that would trigger a reconsultation with the National Marine Fisheries Service under the National Environmental Policy Act. Under the 2000 Trinity River Record of Decision, only 450 cubic feet per second was released daily into the Trinity River in July.
