                <div><div id="ydp105457a0yiv1335287438"><div dir="ltr">Good morning Trinity River Restoration Program and partners,<div>In light of recent turnover and ongoing vacancies, as well as because it is just a busy time of year, I wanted to provide updates on points of contact for various items of program business.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Executive Director: </b>As most of you are aware, I will be filling Caryn's position in a temporary promotion through the end of July or until it is filled, whichever comes first. I have high hopes, based on recent HR updates, that we are close to advertising the position. </div><div><br></div><div><b>Implementation Branch Chief: </b>For the next two months, Logan Negherbon (<a href="mailto:lnegherbon@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">lnegherbon@usbr.gov</a>), our design engineer, will be back filling my position, so he is your guy for all Implementation Branch questions (design, construction, permitting, gravel augmentation). The one exception is that I will maintain point on watershed restoration stuff for the time being.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Geomorphologist stuff: </b>With Dave Gaeuman's departure for the Yurok Tribe, questions regarding what we are doing this year with gravel should be directed to Logan Negherbon. Questions regarding this year's sediment transport or gravel augmentation monitoring should be jointly fielded by Todd Buxton (<a href="mailto:tbuxton@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">tbuxton@usbr.gov</a>) and Eric Peterson (<a href="mailto:ebpeterson@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">ebpeterson@usbr.gov</a>). This position will likely be held vacant until we are able to fill the legacy science coordinator position.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Science Coordinator: </b>HR is making some final tweaks to the PD, and then my understanding is that we will likely be recruiting this position not too long after the ED. In the interim, Eric Peterson will be the POC for report submittal, and he will be jointly coordinating internal and/or external review of documents with Nick Som (<a href="mailto:nicholas_som@fws.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">nicholas_som@fws.gov</a>). </div><div><br></div><div><b>Media inquiries, public concerns, positive outreach stuff: </b>We are rolling into our busiest season, with restoration flows and gravel augmentation kicking off in a couple weeks, as well as the final stages of permitting for what will be our largest channel rehab project yet, Chapman Ranch Phase A, and Dutch Creek in the pipeline to follow. Your POC for all things good, bad, or indifferent when it comes to outreach is Kevin Held (<a href="mailto:kheld@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">kheld@usbr.gov</a>).</div><div><br></div><div><b>Permitting and compliance: </b>These items continue to be spearheaded by Brandt Gutermuth (<a href="mailto:fgutermuth@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">fgutermuth@usbr.gov</a>) who is your primary POC. Jeanne McSloy (<a href="mailto:jmcsloy@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">jmcsloy@usbr.gov</a>) is leading a portion of this work as well.</div><div><br></div><div><b>Contracts, grants, and agreements</b>: No changes; if you have questions about a current agreement non-tribal agreement, please contact Deanna Jackson (<a href="mailto:dljackson@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">dljackson@usbr.gov</a>). For questions regarding Tribal AFAs, it's Linsey Walker (<a href="mailto:lwalker@usbr.gov" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">lwalker@usbr.gov</a>).</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks all, and have a great week.</div><div><div><div dir="ltr" class="ydp105457a0yiv1335287438gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;"><br></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><br><br></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt;"><span style="font-size:9.5pt;font-family:Arial, sans-serif;"></span></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>
