But at the time, the bureau also said it would only pay 50% of the costs. The district receives water from the Central Valley Project, which Shasta Dam is part of.</p><p class="ydp10a2c535p-text" style="margin: 0px 0px 15px 60px; font-stretch: normal; font-size: 14px; line-height: 22px; font-family: arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(51, 51, 51);">Lake Shasta provides about 55% of total annual water supply to the Central Valley Project, Westlands said in its court filing.</p><p class="ydp10a2c535p-text" style="margin: 0px 0px 15px 60px;
