There is a deeper irony here. . .small semi-decrepit cottages in ON
regularly sell for as much or more than houses 50 years younger and 2-3
times as large in the outlying 'burbs.' Market value, yes, but also
the old and venerated real estate wisdom: Location, location, location.
In using ON as an example, the writer misses the whole point about
value.
