[Yolobus Public Announcement] December 8, 2003 Public Hearing Update

Monday December 8, 2003, a Public Hearing was held on the proposed
Express Route Changes.  Following testimony, the board of directors
voted to continue the Public Hearing until January 12, 2004 at 7:15 p.m.
in the Council Chambers, Woodland City Hall, 300 First Street, Woodland.
Some modifications in the proposed routing and scheduling changes will
be proposed for that hearing.  These modifications will be posted to the
Yolobus website when ready.  
 
In the event that routing and schedule changes are approved by the YCTD
Board of Directors, the earliest probable date of implementation will be
March 1, 2004.  No changes would be implemented prior to that date to
allow time for printing of schedules and providing correct signage at
affected bus stops.
