[Yolobus Public Announcement] Continued Public Hearing on Proposed YOLOBUS Route Changes: 39, 43, 43 reverse, 44, 45, 230, 231, 232, 240, 242

Attention All Express Bus Riders

 

Yolo County Transportation District is continuing  its  public hearing
on proposed  YOLOBUS route and schedule changes affecting  routes 39,
43, 43 reverse, 44, 45, 230, 231, 232, 240, 242.  The Public Hearing
will be held at the Woodland City Council Chambers at 7:15pm on Monday,
January 12, 2004.  Yolo County Transportation District, after receiving
over 150 rider opinions and concerns, made changes to proposed schedule
and routes to better serve the riders.   Attached are Excel versions of
the proposed bus schedules and Adobe Acrobat versions of the proposed
routes.  The effective date would be on or around Monday, March 1, 2004.

 

The bottom line is the East End project will be the last stop in the
morning and one of the first stops in the afternoon, minimizing the
impacts on other existing riders.  Regretfully, except for the route 39,
we will not be getting closer to the PERS building area; rather, 9th and
10th Streets will be the closest access points.

 

These changes are also subject to YCTD receiving permission from
Sacramento Regional Transit District for downtown Sacramento route
changes for YOLOBUS.

 

YCTD still want the riders input about the changes, you can voice your
