RT's fares go up, effective September 1, 2005. The basic RT regular =
monthly pass goes up from $60 to $80. There is also a $20 surcharge for a =
YOLOBUS express sticker, as currently exists.

For seniors and disabled riders, the RT senior/disabled monthly sticker =
goes up from $30 to $40, while the student monthly sticker goes up from $15 =
to $24. Seniors and disabled riders don=92t need to buy the $20 YOLOBUS =
express bus sticker, but students ages 5-18 do.

The regular daily pass also goes from $3.50 to $4.50, while the discount
daily pass for seniors and the disabled goes up from $1.75 to $2.25. =
All of the above increases were established by RT. Because we honor RT
monthly =
and daily passes on YOLOBUS, our riders must pay the same price for these
passes.

On the other hand, if you buy a regular RT monthly pass (valued at $80 =
in September) but ride YOLOBUS only, there is an alternative. We are
introducing a $60 YOLOBUS-only monthly pass. It is NOT valid on =
Regional Transit. If you ride a YOLOBUS express bus, you will also need to
pay =
the extra $20 for the express sticker--the same as before. =20

Sorry, but we are not offering a YOLOBUS-only discount sticker for
seniors/disabled or students. If you are a senior citizen, disabled, =
or a student age 5-18, the RT monthly discount sticker is still available to =
you.

As of August 25th, the following are outlets we've established for the =
sale of YOLOBUS-only monthly pass:

*	County Fair Mall, Woodland (1-3 p.m. at the mall-side entrance to
Gottschalks, Saturday, August 27, 2005 and Saturday, September 3, 2005)
*	YCTD Office at 350 Industrial Way, Woodland
*	Cache Creek Resort & Casino (for Cache Creek employees only)
*	Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) at U.C. Davis (available
for employees and general public)

State Offices:

*	CalTrans 1820 Alhambra Blvd (for Caltrans employees only)
*	CA State Auditor's office (for State Auditor employees only)
*	Sac County (for Sacramento County employees only)

We are currently negotiating with other outlets that could sell a
YOLOBUS-only pass. Meanwhile, if you work for a state department that =
is not yet a designated sales outlet of YOLOBUS-only monthly passes, =
contact the transportation coordinator of that department and have them
contact =
Kwai Reitz at (530) 661-0816, extension 17, or at kreitz at yctd.org, and she =
will work with them in becoming a sales outlet.

For general questions on fares, contact our Customer Service Department =
at (530) 661-0816.
